Noted golf course architect Joe Lee designed all 27 holes of the challenging and scenic Big Canoe®Golf Club, rated among the top 20 courses in Georgia by Golf Digest Magazine. The Choctaw, Cherokee and Creek 9-hole courses offer a wide range of difficulties for players of all levels. "Creek" Nine was recently renovated and all 3 courses are in top condition. Golfers soak in the amazing views, peaceful valleys, babbling creeks, and crystal clear mountain lakes as well as frequent wildlife sightings. The golf facilities include a pro-shop, professional staff, full driving range and putting green. A fleet of carts is housed in the new cart barn along with "Duffers", the golfer's snack shop complete with a large stone terrace overlooking Lake Sconti.

The Big Canoe® Community Golf Club is a private club for members and their guests only. The only way to become a member is to become a property owner. If an owner sells their property they must surrender their membership.
